This institution got the approval for introducing the Secondary level in 1983 and the Higher Secondary one in 1989. The students of this institution first appeared in the S.S.C. Examination in 1985 and in the H.S.C. Examination in 1991. Since then, most of these years the percentage of pass had been mostly 100% and students have hardly ever got the 3rd Division or Equivalent Grade.

With a view to ensuring quality education, more teachers in proportion with the number of students have been appointed. Class teachers are ever trying their level best to ensure the attendance, punctuality and discipline of the pupils and their academic progress. To uphold the high significance of discipline, both students and teachers attend the daily assembly.
Mere bookish knowledge can hardly make a real man. keeping it in mind, to discover and nurture the latent faculties lying in our ever-promising pupils, we always encourage the young learners participate in various co-curricular activities such as games and sports, debate, cultural activities, scout, girls’ guide etc.. Along with achieving academic excellence, our students are frequently showing their worth in District, Divisional and national competitions.
IPSC is also an active and proud member of the Connecting Classroom program run by British Council. Showing tremendous performance in this program, our Teachers and students are not only collaborating with their native Cluster schools including Teachers training under the highly sophisticated and rich ambiance of British Council. Alongside a few are getting a rare opportunity of visiting the Cluster Schools in UK.
IPSC has also involved itself with the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association. This forum focuses on a delicate and diversified development of the interested and promising young pupils. It puts emphasis on their overall growth carrying out regular activities in physical recreation, life skill, adventure journey and social service. This global programme facilitates our students with necessary international connection and recognition which will help them to study in the world-famous universities and become an interactive global citizen.
